HOw Much Water ShOuld I Drink Daily?
Most people have heard that we should drink eight 8 oz glasses of water a day. We find this formula needs to be adjusted based on the percentage of water in your body (typically 55%-70%). This is determined to a large extent by your percentage of body fat; therefore, each individual's weight should be taken into account to ensure proper hydration. Please use the following formula to figure your minimum daily consumption.
Step 1: Take your weight in pounds.
Step 2: Divide it by 2 (this gives your daily consumption in ounces).
Step 3: Convert this to cups by dividing by 8.
Step 4: Drink this amount daily.
FOr Example:
175 lbs / 2 = 87.5 lbs (87.5 oz)
87.5 oz / 8 = 11 cups (2.5 liters of water)
* Note: This is the minimum amount you should drink daily. Depending on your activity level you may need to drink more. As we do not have a "storage tank" in our bodies we need to be drinking this water throughout the day.
Rain Fresh Water Delivery Calendar
We deliver every Monday to Friday, from 7:30AM to 6:00PM. We service our Fort Worth family bi-weekly on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
